To be held in conjunction with the CAHR 2023 Conference, the 15th annual New Investigator Workshop will bring together aspiring researchers – ranging from peer researchers, Master’s students and new faculty – from all research disciplines including community-based research. The event will be co-chaired by Dr. Kate Salters (Simon Fraser) and Riley Tough (University of Manitoba). The workshop will include mentorship sessions and presentations from leading Canadian researchers on topics such as getting your grant funded, publishing, career development, and dealing with the media. Hosted by the Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR), sponsors for this event include the Canadian Association for Global Health (CAGH) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). **** Coïncidant avec le Congrès 2023 de l’ACRV, le 15e atelier annuel des nouveaux chercheurs de l’ACRV réunira les aspirants chercheurs – des pairs chercheurs et étudiants à la maîtrise jusqu’aux nouveaux membres du corps professoral – de toutes les disciplines de la recherche, recherche communautaire comprise. L’atelier sera coprésidé par la Dre Kate Salters (Université Simon Fraser) et Riley Tough (Université du Manitoba). L’atelier comportera des séances de mentorat et des exposés de chercheurs canadiens de premier plan sur divers sujets, par exemple obtenir votre subvention, vous faire publier, travailler avec la collectivité et faire face aux médias. Organisé par l’Association canadienne de recherche sur le VIH (ACRV), l’événement est commandité par l’Association canadienne pour la santé mondiale (ACSM) et les Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC).
